This means that the USB drivers for the modem are not loaded and should be checked under the System properties: Control Panel => System => Device Manager => Network Adapters => look for the Westell WireSpeed Dual Connect Modem. If you are using Windows2000 or Windows XP then you would check by Control Panel => System => Hardware => Device Manager => Network Adapters => look for the Westell WireSpeed Dual Connect Modem.
