What does it mean when I am spotting during first trimester of pregnancy?
Hi! I’m so sorry for what you’re going through! Spotting in early pregnancy can mean a miscarriage, it also can be nothing! My sister-in-law had some spotting and then some heavy bleeding and she went on to deliver a healthy baby boy, I on the other hand had the same thing and ended up having a miscarriage. If the bleeding gets any worse that spotting then I would try to see a doctor asap, even if it means going to the hospital. It will just give you piece of mind to talk to someone! Stay positive and know that you have a good chance of keeping this baby! (And if you do miscarry, you should know that approximately 50% of all pregnancies end in miscarriage and that it wouldn’t be your fault, nor was there anything you could have done to stop it) Take care!
