What does it mean when guy says take care at the end of a strained telephone conversation?
It depends. It could mean literally that he wants you to take care, knowing that you have had a tough conversation. Or it could mean take care as a goodbye. It is something that can be said when a conversation/relationship has come to and end and rather than say the word goodbye, they say take care.
