What does it mean when an assignment is showing as “Not published” or “Expired”?

The ‘Not published’ status means that the assignment has not yet been activated for submission by the Course Coordinator. The ‘Expired’ status means that the assignment submission period has ended. You can only submit assignments that are showing as ‘Open’.
