What does it mean to “Tentatively Accept” an invitation?
If you tentatively accept a meeting invitation then you are effectively pencilling the item into you calendar. In CardiffMail this keeps the meeting time free in your schedule so others will see that you are available to attend meetings at that scheduled time. If someone searches your Calendar the meeting will not show to them and may schedule a meeting at a conflicting time. If you tentatively accept a meeting, the meeting will show in your Calendar with a pencil icon displayed. The pencil icon represents the pencilled in invitation.
