What does it mean to speak in tongues?
Jesus declared that His followers would speak in tongues. We see the first evidence in the 2nd chapter of Acts. As we are filled with the Holy Spirit of God, the impact, the filling produces the ability to speak, to utter sounds that is beyond your understanding. This gifting was unplanned, was new, was miraculous that day in the upper room. It is not man’s design. It is evidence of God’s existence in us.
