What does it mean to rebed the filter?
The media bed inside the whole-house filter must be replaced every two years. We use the term “rebedding” to describe this process. After two years, you can buy a whole-house rebed filter at a significantly reduced cost. We ship the rebed tank to you and you simply have to switch out the old tank with the new tank. The new filter is then guaranteed to filter effectively for another two years.
