What does it mean to interpret the US Constitution liberally or conservatively?
If you view the Constitution conservatively, you basically read it as it is and infer very little. If you view it liberally, you infer a lot from the Constitution’s limited language. Conservatives accuse liberals of making things up in the Constitution that don’t exist. Liberals accuse conservatives of ignoring what the Constitution clearly implies.
There is only one way to interpret the Constitution and it should have no political bias. Unfortunately, liberals have changed this. Liberals believe that it is a “living document” that changes with time. Conservatives believe that it should be strictly adhered to as it is written. Conservatives are right.
