What does it mean to coach Travel and what does Dynamo do to help out?
Travel coaches are usually volunteer parents who are interested in soccer and in coaching at a more competitive level. Dynamo does ask (and will pay for) these coaches to obtain an E-level or higher coaching license that is taught by instructors certified by the US Youth Soccer Association. Dynamo also provides professional coaching assistance to travel coaches thru the season; especially at the U10/U11 age levels. The following table provides roster sizes (number of players a team may have) as well as the playing format – e.g., a U10 team plays 7v7, meaning each team plays 6 field players and a goalkeeper – by age group.
