You cannot receive benefits until the penalty is satisfied. Below is a list of issues that commonly need to be resolved before benefits are payable. If there is an issue on your claim, you will be notified by mail of the time and date of the fact finding appointment. The notice will also contain the telephone number that you provided when you filed your claim and you will be contacted at that telephone number. The issue(s) to be resolved will be printed on the notice.
