An ultrasound education program that is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs is in compliance with the adopted standards. In an accredited program, the student is exposed to didactic and clinical experiences to enhance the learning process. Graduates are able to sit for the registry exams and become registered sonographers.
