What does it mean to be a Graduate Teaching Assistant at WVU?
• A: Technically, a graduate teaching assistant is a person who holds a graduate teaching assistantship and is obligated to the extent of teaching two three-hour courses per semester, or for the equivalent in laboratory classes, or for other forms of departmental assistance, except research assistance, amounting to a minimum of 12 clock hours per week.
