What does it mean to be a disciple of Jesus Christ?
To be a disciple of Jesus Christ means to follow Christ’s way. In fact, the earliest disciples were called “people of the Way” before they were called “Christians.” Following in the way of Jesus means that one’s life purpose is to be in mission. Mission means that we communicate God’s Word through evangelizing others so that God’s purposes in the world are realized.
