What does it mean that SLR events are off the grid and zero-waste?
The term off the grid refers to living in a self-sufficient manner without reliance on one or more public utilities. All of SLRs events will be powered by solar power and biofuel generators. All of SLRs vehicles will run on a variety of clean fuels (not included coal, because Clean Coal is an oxymoron). Zero-waste means that SLR will work aggressive to ensure nothing makes it to the land-fill: all of our food will be composted, our carbon-footprint will be offset with direct tree planting, everything will be recycled and we do not use disposable or to-go containers.
