What does it mean if someone applies for registration of mines & minerals on my property?
Sounds l;ike someone has been digging around looking for his roots – and I don’t mean in the dirt! Could be, whoever this is applying for registration of mines and minerals, has found out he is a descendant of whoever owned the land before you!! There could be some kind of document saying this Lord has a claim to any and all mining proceeds and minerals on said property, but, if it was sold at a later date, if they wanted to keep it in the original family’s name, it had better to be stated in any real estate transaction!
