What does it mean if a schools rating drops from exceptional to strong, or from strong to satisfactory?
A common reason for a rating drop is that a school was just above the number of points needed to be included in the higher rating the previous year, but dropped just enough to fall into the lower rating this year. In general, a school should be performing at a satisfactory level or above, and a shifting among the higher rating levels does not reflect a decrease in the quality of education being offered at the school.
