What does infrared radiation mean?
Infrared Radiations, also known as IR light are a part of electromagnetic spectrum. Its wavelength lies between the visible light and radio waves. They have higher wavelength than the visible light. They have a property to heat up any object which comes their way, without heating the air around it. Also, because of this property, they are used in infrared illuminators. They are used to detect the presence of any object in the dark without the need of any illumination. They even work well in all weather conditions.
