What does In progress mean?
Once you have scheduled a payment, it is In Progress. Most payments are processed in just a few minutes. You’ll receive a confirmation once a payment has been made. Some payments can take longer to process(up to 24hours), depending on the payee website. If the payee website is having scheduled maintenance, for example, your payment will be queued and then processed once the scheduled maintenance has been completed. Until your payment is completed, it will be In Progress. Payments In Progress cannot be cancelled.
