What does improved durability of the FPU System do for my life cycle cost savings?
Improved durability and life cycle cost savings are based on quality engineering, all-steel construction and third-party performance certification. Our FPU containers have been repeatedly rammed with forklifts during normal operations and pushed across 400 yards of rough terrain with a D-7 bulldozer with no adverse effect on structural integrity or system performance. Over the past 10 years, over 4,700 FPU Systems have been deployed worldwide. No container or module has come out of service due to damage or need for repair parts. • The FPU requires low maintenance and is repairable at lowest organizational level with no impact on training or MOS using organic hand tools (mallet, sledge hammer, crow bar or welding torch).
