What does imprinting (in breaking dawn) mean?
It means that the werewolves fall in love. This can only happen to werewolves and what happens is when they see someone that they were ment to be with tyhey automaticly fall in love and the other person fall in love with them also. Jacob imprinted on Renesme and he will be her friend, her protecter and her shoulder to cry on untill she is his age. It is called imprinting because they imprint and it will never go away they will love that person for eternity. Its not something they choose to do, it is kind of like love at first sight. Jacob thought that he loved Bella but he never imprinted on her so there for it wasnt true love. Bella was ment to be with Edward and Jacob was ment to never imprint on bella, he was ment to be with Renesme.
