What does housing cost on Maui?
You can expect to spend $550 – $900 for a room in a shared house, and about $900 – $1,600 for a studio or one-bedroom apartment. It’s important to arrive a few weeks before classes begin to find housing and to get settled. We strongly advise against renting a place you haven’t seen. Many students find housing right in Makawao within walking distance of the school. Students often room together and our bulletin board at the school is a source of leads for housing and other opportunities in the area.
