What does horse power, RPM and CC specify in car?
Horse power specifies the useable power devoloped in the engine. Speed is directly propotional to horse power. The greater the horse power you have, the faster you can go. RPM stands for Revolutions Per Minute.It indicates the speed at which the engine is running. CC stands for Cubic Centimeters.It specifies the displacement of the engine,the amount of air fuel mixture required for one cycle of operation. There exists a direct relation between the three. To increase the Horse Power of an Engine we have to increase the amount of air fuel mixture fed to the engine.This can be done in the following ways 1) Increase the CC.
