This is an Offer of Admission to our Honours Arts program at the Waterloo Campus. This means that you can choose from a wide variety of subject majors offered in the Faculty of Arts except for those Honours Arts programs that are administered under the Faculty of Science or the School of Business and Economics. For example, you can choose Communication Studies, Medieval Studies, History, English, Languages, Political Science, Film Studies, Sociology etc. but you cannot choose Kinesiology & Physical Education, Biology, Psychology, Mathematics, Financial Mathematics, Economics or Applied Economics. In your first year as an Honours Arts student you are encouraged to take a wide variety of courses and experience all that Laurier has to offer. Near the end of your first year, you will choose your major(s). So if you aren’t sure yet what you want to study, that’s ok. We give you a year to explore your options and give you a chance to discover some courses or programs of which you may not be
