What does General Education Certified mean?
General Education (GE) Certified means you have completed the lower division general education requirements of the California State University and Cal Poly. Possessing an associate’s degree, even from California community colleges does not automatically mean you are GE Certified. Some associate’s degrees do not require GE certification. The best way to determine if you are GE Certified is to apply to the ADP or discuss your academic record with a community college academic advisor.
