What does GCSE Maths preparation involve?
We will cover the following areas in order to fully prepare your child for their GCSE: • Algebra • Graphs • Number • Shape and Space • Statistics and Probability • Trigonometry • Exam Papers – Popular questions, strategies and time management • Coursework After an initial assessment an expected grade will be set. High expectations are a key feature of Study Centre, we expect your child to meet our anticipated grade. However, we also value honesty and under no circumstance will mislead you to “win your business”. GCSE pupils are encouraged to contact their tutor by email or phone, should they need assistance during independent revision. Their tutor will be available between 9.30am and 9.30pm every day, and if busy will contact them as soon as they possibly can. We are also experimenting with other ‘child friendly’ communication channels such as MSN Messenger and Twitter.
