What does format painter do?
Format Painter is a tool in Microsoft Office Applications like MS word. The icon is usually found on the toolbar by default. It selects the formatting from a particular text and then applies (paints) it to another part of text where we want it to be applied. Thus its faster then having to set same formatting at multiple places manually. Now the advent of styles has decreased its usefulness somewhat but its still good tool to have.
