What does film director & producer do in the film & animation industry?
The director interprets the script and then tells the actors how to act, how the character feels, etc., whether real people or the animation artists. The producer pays for everything, and therefore is the big honcho and makes all the final decisions. Or he gets others to pay, and then he has to protect their financial interest, so he makes sure the movie is done properly and money is not wasted.
