Extended time typically means time and a half. For example, if a classroom test is scheduled to be an hour long, a student who gets extended time as his/her accommodation would get 1 hour and thirty minutes to complete the test. Occasionally, a student may have the accommodation of double time; however, this would be specified on his or her accommodation form.
