What does Estate and Personal Trust Services at the Public Guardian and Trustee do?
The Public Guardian and Trustee, as Official Administrator for BC, administers an estate when the Executor, heir, beneficiary or other eligible person is not able or willing to do so. The Public Guardian and Trustee may agree to be appointed executor in appropriate circumstances. The Public Guardian & Trustee does not assist in resolving disputes respecting the administration of estates by private parties nor do we provide information or advice on how to administer an estate.
