What does Encana do to manage the amount of water used during hydraulic fracturing operations?
Encana uses water responsibly in its operations. We consider recycling and making use of non-potable water whenever possible in our hydraulic fracturing operations. This is done through the use of area specific operating practices which provide guidance with regards to the use of non-potable water, water recycling and water storage and handling. These practices take into account location specific conditions and regulations.
