What does “Enable Music” mean and what are the benefits of checking it?
This option enables you to record only your voice on your computer and then mix in the music track afterwards (which is done by checking “Enable Music”). For this to work properly you need to make sure that only your voice is recorded by setting your sound card to “Microphone” (may differ slightly depending on what sound card you have). The main benefits of recording this way is that you get stereo quality recordings (if you are also a Gold member), you can easily adjust the level of your voice and you can record using a USB microphone and with all types of Windows Vista sound cards. When you mix in your voice with the music you sometimes need to correct the “sync” on the recording. By “sync” we mean the synchronization of the voice to the music.
