On-demand is about Embarcadero choosing to take on the complexities of license management and deployment that are typically left to corporate IT. On-demand starts with the licensing model, in the sense that users buy an entire tool chest with All-Access and not just a single tool. It continues with the licensing technology itself, particularly with server-based licensing, which greatly simplifies compliance and administration. The On-demand story then touches upon the time-to-productivity, eliminating the need for IT or end-users to coordinate an install, through InstantOn. The All-Access Client then provides the visual palette of tools that is presented to the user.
