It stands for English for Academic Purposes. EAPP classes earn academic college credit and students receive a grade; they have homework and exams and require attendance. Students must first enroll at Macomb and take a placement test to take EAPP courses. Students who are non-native speakers of English who plan to go to college for academic credit will need to take EAPP classes.
