What does double off-set coating mean?
A. Double off-set is a final double coating to the inside of the fabric that is off set to make sure any impurities such as dust or potential vapor blow holes “pin holes” are eliminated. This additional urethane coating also increases the overall thickness of the inside top coating and reduces the fabric’s diffusion rate. SEI applies double off-set coating for all fabric tanks. Double off-set should not be confused with double thickness. Double offset coating manufacturing involves two seperate layers of coating applied individually. Double thickness, however, is one layer applied at twice the thickness.
