There are (2) Two types of door pins. A (+) Positive Door Pin and a (-) Negative Door Pin Type. In most vehicles the Door Pin is (-) Negative, but most Ford vehicles are (+) Positive. A (-) Negative Door Pin shows a GROUND when the door is opened and the Dome Light is ON.
