Annually we select meters installed in the field at random and remove them for accuracy testing and verification by our meter shop. All of our meter test data is stored electronically. A recent review of meter test records revealed that approximately 10,000 smart meters have been tested by Dominion since the initial field installations occurred in 2008 and that 99.9% of the test results were within desired accuracy requirements.
