What does CSI know about software?

CSI recognizes the value of master specifications tools and has worked with master specification providers to improve these tools over the years. Today, CSI members and other industry professionals regularly contact CSI staff for information on master specifications systems and vendors. In the past, CSI was instrumental in founding the Construction Sciences Research Foundation (CSRF), which was eventually spun off, and CSI participated in the review of their master specification system, SpecText. CSI has also developed relevant software, including the product Perspective with the Design Build Institute of America (DBIA), which was sold to BSD several years ago.
