What does crossdressing do to help you understand women better?
I think when I first started dressing I gained an immediate appreciation for the time-consuming nature of just getting yourself presentable. I have learned why my wife is not the first one out of the bathroom when we are getting dressed to go out…being a girl is “high maintenance”. I have also come to see that there is truly no sense to sizes from clothing manufacturers. This has got to be frustrating to women everywhere. Plus the choices in clothing are mind-boggling. With boy clothes it’s pants and a shirt and sport coat or suit. And that’s it! But with women’s clothing the mixing and matching and the selection of the right accessories and shoes can make or break your “look”. Although I know I can never be a woman, I think my crossdressing has helped me see the “other side” of things and it has made me more sensitive to the things that women face on a daily basis.
