What does coupon parking entitle residents to?
Residents who display a valid parking coupon are permitted to park without charge in the designated paid parking areas in Byron Bay. However, TIME RESTRICTIONS ARE STILL ENFORCED. Residents must ensure they adhere to directions as signposted. Altered or misused coupons. Council views the act of altering, changing or general misuse of a coupon as a serious offence, heavy penalties apply. In conjunction to a fine being issued Council will also cancel the current coupon and prevent any future issue of a coupon. At Councils discretion the coupon can be revoked to any person / household and or related company.
