What does continuous improvement mean for training package reviews?
In essence continuous improvement means training packages can be refined at any time. The full three year two-stage review cycle can still occur if necessary, and the three year period of endorsement remains. Continuous improvements still comply with the category 1 and 2 change requirements for training packages. However, enhanced stakeholder feedback arrangements may result in more changes to existing training packages. Industry skills councils have relied on stakeholders to provide feedback in the quality and currency of training packages. This feedback can now be made quicker, enabling the industry skills council to address issues before they become major problems.
