What does conductor-to-conductor short mean?
A conductor is any material capable of transmitting electricity. In the Aegis system, the wires of the IPB are conductors. Since the Aegis system is multi-phasic (meaning that each detection channel has a positive and negative waveform phase), bringing two adjacent wires into contact with one another causes a negation of the electrical impulses and creates a short circuit.
