What does Comprehensive Data Base require to produce an MSDS?
Usually the list of ingredients and amount of each ingredient in the formulation will suffice. Occasionally we may require a manufacturer s MSDS on a product not currently in our files. An MSDS can be prepared and returned by e-mail within 3-4 days of receipt of the formulation and other pertinent information describing the product, color, odor, form, name, etc. All information received from clients is held in strict confidence. It is important the complete formulation is utilized in preparing an MSDS because all ingredients must be studied for their toxic, hazardous, or physical characteristics to determine the resultant characteristics of the mixture. Your company logo is an integral part of our MSDS, send us your logo by e-mail or give us your URL and we can extract the logo from your web site.
