What Does Complimentary Mean?
• There are actually two kinds of goods, substitute and complimetary. Substitute goods are those good which can be used to replace another good. For example tea and coffee, speghetti and noodles, each of this good can be used in case the other isnt available, meanin it can be replaced. • Complimentary means when inorder to hav a certain product we need another product to make the full use of it. For example, play station and CD’s, Table and chair, bed and pillow etc. Each of these two goods should come along with each other for us to make the full use of it, meaning, when we buy a playstation we have to also buy game CD’s along with it, or else we cant make use of the play station, likewise for table n chair, bed and pillow. So this shows that playstation and game CD are refered to complimentary goods.
