What does communism and capitalism mean?
Looking at the theory, communism is a system in which means of production are owned by the workers, practically meaning they belong to the community. In such a system, there is no state because it’s not needed, and because the state is seen as protecting private interests (the final result is actually very close to Anarchy, only the means to reach this result differ significantly: communism comes after socialism, in which there is still a state, and Anarchy comes right after the revolution). Historically, there’s been no example of communism system implemented (as someone said, it never went past the dictatorial stage…), but you can find “micro-examples” (at the community level) of communism in certain societies. Capitalism is a bit harder to define, because it has many forms. The broadest definition I know would be “a system in which private property (especially of the means of production) is secured and social division of labour is implemented”.
