What does Collegiate Farm Bureau do?
This organization’s main goal is to promote agricultural awareness for everyone. Over the year we help out in the community any way we can. This includes involvement in Agriculture Awareness Days at elementary schools, numerous community service events including Food Check Out Day, Cowboys for Cancer Team Roping, Southern NM State Fair and more. As a member of Collegiate Farm Bureau you are encouraged to attend state and local Farm Bureau meetings. As our young members pursue a career in agriculture. Collegiate Farm Bureau is an excellent way to network with the leaders in our industry. Members attend several out of state conventions and leadership workshops to further enhance our program while gaining valuable knowledge. Collegiate Farm Bureau is a self-supporting organization. The club raises funds through dues and fundraising activities held during the year. Our major fundraisers are our silent auction, which takes place at the New Mexico Farm and Livestock Bureau’s Annual Conventio
