What Does Clairvoyance Mean?
Clairvoyance refers to the ability to see or predict things that cannot be perceived by the senses. While in some places this has often been looked at as some kind of a supernatural phenomenon, others simply refer to it as a strong sense of intuition. The term clairvoyant stems from the French word ‘clair’ which means clear and ‘voyant’ which means seeing. This is often spoken about as being extra sensory perception as well as the ability to sense particular ‘vibes’ about something or someone. The general belief is that most people are clairvoyant but some more than other because they tend to listen and pay more attention to the various thinking and feeling patterns that take place inside them. Ancient Hindu texts state that by continued meditation and strict self discipline a person can heighten his sense of clairvoyance.
