What does Cincinnati have to claim?
A good quarterback? A record barely over .500 the last three seasons (.530)? In case you’re wondering, outside of that whole Super Bowl ring thing, Pittsburgh is .680 over the same span, winning 10 of the last 13 games between the two. I wasn’t aware that satire is a foreign concept in the greater Cincinnati area (although it wouldn’t surprise me), and after eight years in journalism, I still have yet to find evidence that sports writing isn’t, at its core, subjective.
