What does Chloroform smell like???
cloroform is a very volatile liquid and evaporates quickly into a gas. This gas vapour is what you are mostlikely to smell. Its like thawpit and liquids sold to clean stains off clothes; fairly sweet in small quantities but rather rotten in large puffs. On a cloth only about six deep inhalations will make you feel woozy then more will make your hearing go faint or distorted.and then your blood pressure will fall a bit and if standing up, you,ll faint. It takes quite a lot more to completely put you under so that you dont remember anything.Too much will start to upset the breathing and heart regulatory centres and it is because it has produced fibrillation and irreg. heartbeat that it has been stopped for regular use.It can be used to “lace drinks in unsuspecting people but its pungent odour makes this very obvious.Warning dont experiment! You might knock yourself out!
