The CERT course is taught in the community by a trained team of first-line responders and individuals who have completed a CERT Train-the-Trainer course conducted by New York State Emergency Management Office (SEMO). Nassau County CERT instructors are experienced responders in their field with a vast knowledge of the disasters and emergencies that may occur in Nassau County.
