What does Castle Zeeks “Server Delivery” mean?
• Does Castle Zeek really deliver a physical server? Yes, in cases where the client intends to host their own web application developed by Castle Zeek. We offer the option of “Server Delivery” for Level 3 and Level 4 engagements. Castle Zeek will procure the physical hardware and develop the system to that machine. We typically do this on a Linux platform, or Solaris 10. We do NOT provide this service using any Windows operating system. Please note that the hardware costs, needed modifications, and setup fees are additional material project expenses. This delivery option has the potential to save clients ongoing colocation fees, which can easily surpass $500.00 per month. One thing Castle Zeek has specifically learned is that its ZeekEngine’s do not tolerate the constraining parameters of “virtualized” J2EE/Servlet containers.
